A woodshop require hardwood to make bows and shield and it can produce level 5 weapons. Wood cost barely any money but the weapons produced by it can sell for over 100k. Compare that to any other workshop except smithy where the cost of the starting resource is more expensive but the product produced is sold way cheaper.
I have 6 workshops, and they average 500 denars a day each. You don't need mods to make money with a workshop. You just need to learn to do it right. In other words, you don't have a have a workshop problem. You have a 'git gud' problem. This isn't like in Warband where you bought them and forgot them.

At early trade levels you are only getting 1 or two trade rumors for each item. Just like the name said, they r just rumors, not actual info's. So they can be pretty inaccurate. At later levels you will gather more rumors, and when the AI averages out the numbers, it will be a lot more accurate than right now. JayF000.
