NFSHP Remastered is pretty much the same as Hot Pursuit 2010 with mildly updated graphics and some quality-of-life improvements. It's a very Criterion cops vs racers style game with exotic cars that encourage you to drift every turn, etc.
NFS Heat has some issues from Payback as well (poor handling model) but it sure is a step forward in the right direction and it feels more in-depth than previous titles. But for me the racing game of 2019 is hands down Dirt Rally 2.0, nothing comes even close this year. Heat would be the runner-up though.

NFS HEAT VS NFS UNBOUND. I’ve beaten both games now so I can finally have more of an overview of these two. In all honesty I prefer NFS Heat (so far). Though there are things that unbound did better, I still think heat takes it overall. For example, (as of now) heat imo still has the superior multiplayer and progression system.

On the sound side of things, a few unnecessary sound imports were reverted, as well as a few new ones for several cars using high-quality samples from GRID, Forza Horizon, and Need for Speed: Edge.
