I installed the latest Mystic Light and my Adata XPG DT41 RAM (2x8 Gb 3600CL17) is not seen by the latest mystic light. I tried installing ML version 3.0.0.64 and 63, they see the ram,. but don't change the color in any way. I want to sync the ram with my mobo with one software, of the motherboard, and usually the MBs detects my ram, but not in Head has these two wires as on the picture. 3pin I have connected to CPU fan and pump is working just fine. Byt RGB is not so I guess second wire is for RGB. I have a splitter from Jrainbow2 (msi tomahawk z490). I put fan rgb wire there and fan is light up. But whenever I connect wire from HEAD to that same splitter nothing is happening. Your Mystic light software can stop working correctly because of outdated software files. This problem usually happens because of one or two files. You can s Need help with MSI B650 P WIFI ARGB control. So I have the Arctic Freezer II ARGB cooler and I have everything plugged in correctly, the ARGB wire is going to my JARGB_V2_1 header. When I first booted my system, the RGB was working perfectly fine but ever since actually setting up the BIOS and Windows, the lighting has completely shut off.
Warning: this post is long. It is the result of several days of troubleshooting. I have been running the latest build from here, I wanted to share my troubleshooting saga of using OpenRGB with MSI Mystic Light motherboards, because I suspect once you re-enable on the main release that you will start seeing people sharing similar issues.
Paperdoc said: I agree with popatim. If you have any questions about how to connect the front case fans' ARGB lighting cables to a mobo ARGB header, post here the maker and exact model number of your mobo. If you have only one ARGB header to use, you will need a THREE-pin ARGB Splitter to connect both fans' cables to a single header.

I am building a new computer and have just bought a MSI Z390M Gaming Edge AC motherboard. My objective is to sync motherboard rgb, memory rgb, graphics card rgb (not sure if possible), and rgb fans (up to 5 of them) in the cleanest way possible. I may very well choose Corsair rgb fans and I am completely new to rgb.
Original Post: Just upgraded my PC with an MSI B550 Gaming plus motherboard. I have two ARBG led strips installed in my PC that I attached to the JRAINBOW1 and JRAINBOW2 headers. These seemed to be functioning fine using the MSI center app. (Sync rainbow, steady color etc.) I wanted to give OpenRGB (0.7) a try since I have heard great things
This commit does not belong to any branch on this repository, and may belong to a fork outside of the repository. About Alternative to MSI Mystic Light for controlling motherboard LEDs, without the fixed 7 colour limitation.
1. May 29, 2021. #1. when I first built my system the motherboard RGB was working perfectly fine however, for some reason it stopped working for no apparent reason. I have bios flashed the motherboard and when I do so the motherboard RGB works only once. I need help.
SignalRGB didn't work for me on my MSI x570 Gaming Pro Carbon with a Corsair Commander Pro and G.Skill TridentZ RAM. I think the only RGB it recognised in my system was my mouse. Bit of a shame considering that my motherboard (at the least) was listed as compatible with the software and I had no other RGB software going.
Jul 12, 2020. #1. MSI X570 Gaming Plus motherboard. 12V RGB header worked fine for a month but most of the time I keep it off, I just turn it on for a few minutes every now and then for fun. Suddenly the 12V RGB header is no longer working, reinstalled everything related to MSI Dragon Center, Mystic light and even formatted the PC to no avail.
To keep things simple and since EKWB doesn't have their own software like the Wraith Prism did, I decided to uninstall all RGB software and run everything off MSI Dragon Center (except the mouse that uses iCUE). Now the motherboard and EKWB components light up fine but the RAM doesn't light up at all. When I first turn on the computer, all
I've now ran into the new issue that the RGB of the brace is a 5v 3pin and on a quick look at my motherboard it only had 4 pin connectors. I had a look around and found the Queen.Y RGB Convertor Which arrived recently and requires a connection to a SATA cable as well as the 12v 4pin RGB connector on the motherboard and my main issue revealed
The PC reboot worked the first few times, but not long after messing around with the lighting on the motherboard, all of the lights on the board when black. I cannot seem to get any response out of any of the lights no matter what I do. I am open to any and all suggestions. My PC: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x Motherboard: MSI Gaming Pro Carbon

You can control the rgb on your motherboard using rgb software on windows(eg. msirgb, openrgb, Don't use Dragon center). Using msirgb you can allow it to make changes, then click on the disable all lighting button(on the bottom).

3) Ensure iCUE has the latest firmware update ALWAYS and make it boot on start-up. If you're still having further problems in iCUE go on the click the RAM > device settings > check for updates (update or) > three dots > force update. Force updating always solves the issue for me.

Update: MSI Center just had an update and my motherboard is now detected and everything works just as I wanted outside of regular funky rgb things like colors not exactly matching.
